Kiley, Kiley & Kiley obtains $170,000 judgment for Queens woman who claimed property damage to her home as a result of neighbor’s construction project [2009-04-01]
James D. Kiley obtained a judgement of $170,000 in the case of a Queens woman who sued the owner and contractor of an attached home that was undergoing renovation. The Building Department of the City of New York shut down the Richmond Hill construction site and issued numerous violations but not before significant property damage was done to the plaintiff’s adjoining home. After the building owner and construction company abandoned the project, Mr. Kiley successfully pursued a civil suit and obtained a judgement.
